YUPC is a state-of-the art mental health and training centre community associated with the Department of Psychology in the Faculty of Health at York University. The clinic provides a range of leading-edge, effective mental health services to keep people of all ages living healthy, productive lives.

We have collaborated with YUPC to bring you this lunch and learn session on Coping with Anxiety. On May 7th, between 12-12:30 pm, they will be providing a brief workshop on skills to cope with anxiety and stress in the workplace.

Instructor bio: Komal Shaikh is a neuropsychology resident at Ottawa Hospital with a background in neuroscience and psychology. Abid Azam is a psychology resident at CAMH with a background in kinesiology and psychology. Both Komal and Abid have extensive experience with cognitive behavioral therapies and mindfulness practice in managing mood and stress.
