We invite you to join the Challenging Unconscious Bias for Managers session where you will learn and be a part of honest conversations about the impacts of unconscious biases on marginalized communities, and how you can do your part to create inclusive spaces for all employees.
This session features a descriptive look at unconscious bias and how it can influence our patterns of interactions and engagement with our colleagues. Through video and practical exercises, you will explore how facets of unconscious bias can show up in management-employee dynamics, and it will provide an opportunity for you to reflect on your own practices that can, even unintentionally result in discriminatory experiences.
Session facilitators will present content and conduct small group exercises for you to discuss approaches to address various case scenarios, which will be debriefed in the larger group.
