This session provides managers with an overview of how to manage and support employee leaves, absences, accommodation, illnesses and injuries at York U.

In this session, you will learn to:

  •  identify and list the goals and objectives of the Attendance Management Program (AMP) and the Disability Support Program (DSP) at York;
  •  understand the processes at York University around employee sick leaves, accommodation and workplace injuries;
  •  identify your role and responsibilities in assisting your employees to record, improve and manage their attendance; and
  •  discuss key areas of concern and opportunities related to supporting time and attendance at York.

Who Should Attend: This course is for all levels of newly hired and existing York CPM managers, management supervisors and HRBPs; from those seeking foundational learning, to building on their existing capabilities, to those wishing to expand their knowledge and skills about leaves and disability support management to transform work and employee relations.
