This information session will focus on how to identify and manage copyright issues that may arise during everyday workplace tasks at York University.

This workshop will look at common questions, such as:

• Copyright basics: What is protected by copyright and why should it matter to you;
• Creating training materials without copyright infringement;
• Providing reference materials to staff;
• Exceptions that may be available to you; and
• How to find "copyright-free" materials.
