To foster a healthy and safe workplace and promote employee well-being, Health, Safety and Employee Well-Being (HSEWB) is offering 10 webinars, which are now open for registration. These webinars are live hosted by qualified facilitators and arranged through our Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP). The webinar format is intended to maximize the ability for anyone interested to participate, right from your own computer.

Overview
With the advances in technology we have today, connecting with others is right at our fingertips. However, loneliness is at an all-time high. During this seminar we will take a look at how technology has changed our day to day social interactions and how these changes have affected the way we connect and interact with others. We will explore ways to use technology wisely yet still maintain that personal touch in our relationships.

Learning Objectives
This seminar is designed to:
- Review how technology has changed the way in which people socialize, communicate and problem solve.
- Discuss the potential effects of excessive technology usage including addiction, interrupted sleep patterns, and increased anxiety and depression.
- Identify tips to use technology wisely.
