Overview

While the circumstances in which we work have changed, the need to create a culture of service excellence remains.

Join this session to:

  • Learn about emerging and established practices for remote service delivery;
  • Share and get feedback on new or experimental ways of improving service interactions online; and,
  • Gain practical techniques to create better virtual service experiences.

Before you go, what tools, tips and strategies are you using to ensure great remote service delivery to students, colleagues, and other York community members? Let us know in this form so we can share and discuss your ideas during the lunch and learn.

Guest Speakers:

David Ip Yam is a higher education professional and leadership educator. At York he serves as Project Director, Student Service Excellence with the Division of Students. Timely fact: His favourite purchase during the pandemic was a laptop stand. Good bye neck pain!

Amanda Sartori is the Project Coordinator for Student Advising and Service Excellence. Amanda comes to this role with background in building student experience and leadership development programs. Timely fact: Amanda recently dug up her flute and is now learning to play pieces from Adele and the Harry Potter soundtrack.
