Overview

This session will provide managers with an overview of managing and supporting employee leaves, absences, accommodation, illnesses and injuries at York.

As a result of attending this session, you will be able to do the following:

• identify and list the goals and objectives of the Attendance Management Program (AMP) and the Disability Support Program (DSP) at York;
• understand the processes at York University around employee sick leaves, accommodation and workplace injuries;
• identify your role and responsibilities in assisting your employees to record, improve and manage their attendance; and
• discuss key areas of concern and opportunities related to supporting time and attendance at York.
